Learn to see, simplify, and sketch the beauty of plants ✨

This course is all about learning to see plants in a simpler way and drawing them with more confidence. We won’t try to copy every tiny detail. Instead, you’ll learn how to notice shapes, simplify complex forms, and add texture so your sketches feel alive and expressive. From simple shapes to plants
full of character ✨

We’ll take it step by step, starting with the simple shapes and structures hidden inside every plant.

First, you’ll learn how to notice the main form instead of getting lost in tiny details. Then we’ll add lines, dots, hatching, and texture to make each sketch feel more lively and expressive.

Little by little, you’ll move from leaves and flowers to berries, bushes, and trees, while learning how to simplify complex plants and draw them with more confidence.

You don’t need to get everything perfect. Just follow the process, try the exercises, and watch your botanical sketches grow with every lesson.

🗨️ FAQ

What is the difference between the tracks with and without feedback?
You can choose the format that fits your style. With the Self-Paced track, you study completely independently. If you choose the Feedback track, you can upload your work in the comments under the lessons. Your dedicated teacher will look at every drawing, give you gentle, constructive tips on how to improve, and cheer you on, because let’s be honest, we all need a little extra motivation sometimes! :)
Do I need to buy expensive materials?
Keep it simple. All you really need is a couple of black fineliners (universal sizes like 0.3 or 0.5 mm work best) and any sketchbook or plain paper you have at home. Optional materials like sticky notes or colored markers can be used for accents, but they are not required.
